Planets that have been so extensively cultivated that a consciousness emerges. Human life creates a network of resource and information distribution within the planet. The culture of the people make of the temperament of the World Mind and can behave in predictable ways by other World Minds interacting with it.
Their existence is debated or outright refuted by any system of power that feels threatened by having a higher form of intelligence than humans. However their are some that seem them as an inevitability or even as something to strive to become a part of. They cultivate planets in specific ways to help facilitate the emergence of a World Mind.
