After Silgasil opened Thragnar's rage, they also stole his seed. It sat within Silgasil for 11 months and 11 days before emerging as Thrasgil. Silgasil was split and in their last moment she enchanted a bottle of blood and bile to provide for Thrasgil. For two years Thrasgil sustained themselves on that bottle. In that time, Silgasil's remains did not decay. Her soul held on violently to the material plane.

Around the same area as this was taking place a number of Extraplanars had begun to find their way in. A deific being named Stzvka came across Thrasgil. It spoke and the words animated Silgasil's body. It looked at the shattered minds of the two and chose to use them for continued destruction of the material plane. It understood these two could better enact corruption of their own due to familiarity.

Stzvka told Silgasil to request one thing that may bring ruin. She told it to imbue Thrasgil with bloodlust beyond the sum of herself and Thragnar. Then, in front of Thrasgil, she ate her own hands and choked to death on them. Stzvka filled Thrasgil with insanity and visions of all lands sinking into death. Thrasgil, now mature with bloodlust, leapt upon Stzvka and burrowed into its eye.

Thrasgil and Stzvka saw war together for a hundred years. They took joy in all death on any side. Soon the material races began to overpower the Extraplanars in their wars with each other. Stzvka wished for its destruction to continue but knew its time was at an end. It gave up its essence to Thrasgil. In one of the last great extraplanar battles Stzvkafell and was overtaken by Thrasgil. She emerged from it in a lake of congealed blood that violated and drowned all beings on the cursed battlefield.

Thrasgil spent several years gaining an understanding of their new existence. Much of this time she spent as pools of blood found in marshes that had seen battle. Eventually she migrated to cities. Thrasgil quickly had legends attached to her. Cities she resided in fell into violence and many believed it to be a curse or plague. She lived within sewers and fed on the blood that poured in.

Despite many attempts, Thrasgil was never rooted out from places they cursed. When she would choose to leave areas she left behind blood imps. They continued to rape and murder long after she left, sometimes for generations.

During the Fall of Vza, Thrasgil saturated the battlefield. In part due to her influence nearly every combatant ended up killed. The event led to Thrasgil's ascension. Her followers have always been few but they are devout and rabid, filled with hundreds of years of bloodlust.
