During the Sacking of Zvelvist, Zvelstiva was stolen from the sun's orbit. It was not stolen by groups inhabiting the Moonship but rather groups intending to invade Zvelstiva. The idea was to control the engine rooms and fly Zvelstiva out of orbit of Zvelvist, Solar Seed. This would separate Zvelstiva from most the action and supply and make it an easier target to invade. However damage to the engines caused it to fly dramatically off course. Continued battles additionally destroyed much of the Moonship's communications array. Eventually it lost communication and flew blind and silent, disconnected from the rest of the galaxy.
