During the Fall of the General Galactic, Zvelvist, Solar Seed was greatly damaged. It had a large concentration of valuable materials making it a prime target. It also required substantial infrastructure to keep running and protected which just wasn't available for a long time. Many groups fought over Zvelvist, Solar Seed, some stuff was exported, some remained around the sun but under control of different groups, and some was destroyed. Famously the moon/ship Zvelstiva was stolen entirely and then lost, becoming known as the Loss of Zvelstiva.
