Split into: Zazzle's and Fraz's during the Tech War
For three generations Poe Pizzazz's family built up the Pizzazzlefraz's Boxed Breads empire. During this time the general product stayed mostly the same: Baked clay containing the various shapes of breads. The clay was always box or rectangle shaped for ease of transportation. While the bread types changed they all had similar aspects, such as crunchy crust, due to baking methods.
The world food supply market started to fare better as the Clay Recovery went on. As this happened the market for simple breads started to stagnate. Pizzazzlefraz's needed to modernize to stay competitive. They started by buying up a few dozen bakesmitheries on various continents. Each was tasked with experimenting with new ways to utilize bread while keeping in the spirit of the traditional clay box products. The bakesmithery with the best product would get to oversee operations within the parent company.
The chosen submission took frozen milk with dumplings, packed it in dough, wrapped in clay, and flash baked. The clay casing was saturated with preserving fats. The hard bread crust kept the milk contained long enough for shipping. When the food was sold it came with heating instructions. Clay container and all goes in a home fire, turned every few minutes. As the shell started to crack, it was removed from the fire. After a short cooling period it was cracked like an egg over a large bowl or cauldron. Larger clay pieces could soak to add a smoky flavor, season milk to taste, call it a meal.
Over the years Pizzazzlefraz's added more types of soups A few meat and plant pies even made it to production. Soon their products could be found in most stores and homes around the world. One of the largest supply chains was under their direct ownership. Their business became one of the only universal entities and saw very little push back for trading with both sides of various conflicts. This advantage was maintained for a majority of the time Homeworld had left.
As the Tech War started looming and people were becoming polarized about the use of magic, it became clear to Pizzazzlefraz's that they needed to take an actual side. Due to the massive scale and spread of ideologies within the company not everyone could get on board with a single choice. It was decided the company would split into two: Zazzle's and Fraz's. Zazzle's sided with the Technologers and Fraz's with the Magicianers. Both companies remained relatively friendly with each other but eventually war restricted how well they could share supplies.
Of course once the Technologers left on the First Ships, only Zazzle's was able to secure any seats. Fraz's, unfortunately, was short lived because of this and not much is known how they spent their final days on Homeworld.
